FAQ
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept: venmo, cashapp, and zelle.
How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?
Hiring me will only enhance your partner's role and your experience during your birth. I aim to work directly with clients and their partners to ensure all preferences are addressed.
What is the difference between a night nanny and a postpartum doula?
The main difference between these two is that nannies are focused on the child while doulas are focused on the well-being of the family. I take care of the postpartum mother as well as making sure the home is cleaned up and that there is a hot meal on the table ready for your family to enjoy.
How will you support me if I have a c-section?
Most people believe that women only need doulas if they are delivering vaginally. However, babies can enter this world using many different routes and there is no "wrong" way. To best support you for a scheduled or urgent/emergency c-section, I will:
-Ensure bonding goes smoothly immediately after the birth.
-If the mother chooses to breastfeed, I can also assist with latching, syringe feeding, and more.Â
-When you arrive home from the hospital, I can assist with your recovery as well as offering a helping hand for any tasks you need done to make your transition smoother.
Are you able to offer any support virtually?
Yes. Lactation support and birth doula support can be offered virtually. Many issues and concerns with breastfeeding, combo feeding, and exclusively formula feeding can be addressed over the phone, email, or text. Please reach out to me directly to customize your package.
